TVCR Celebrates Second ACRP-Certified Coordinator

September 22, 2025

At Texas Valley Clinical Research (TVCR), growth is a team effort—and we’re celebrating another big win. Our very own Gabriela Eschiveste, MPH, Clinical Research Coordinator, has officially earned her Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC®) credential from the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP).

Gabriela is now the second coordinator at TVCR to achieve this internationally recognized certification. Alongside her colleague Claudia Luna-Meza, she’s helping set a new pace for clinical research excellence in the Valley.

Why This Milestone Matters

Earning the CCRC® certification reflects a coordinator’s ability to guide clinical trials with precision, integrity, and care. It demonstrates deep knowledge of ethical research practices, a firm grasp of compliance standards, and a steadfast commitment to participant protection. This achievement strengthens TVCR’s role as both a trusted partner in advancing medical research and a safe, reliable resource for patients.

A Celebration of Progress

Our team celebrated Gabriela’s achievement with cake and conversation, reflecting on how each certification fortifies both individual careers and the quality of care we provide. These celebrations remind us that clinical research is about people: our patients, our sponsors, and our team members reaching new heights together.

Continuing Professional Growth at TVCR

With two CCRC-certified coordinators and more staff preparing for their exams, TVCR is steadily moving toward our goal of full team certification. Each step forward strengthens our ability to deliver safe, ethical, and effective clinical trials right here in the Rio Grande Valley.
